An audit report reveals that the Ministry of Finance has spent nearly ten crores in 2018 to inform the public about the budget and the two-year freedom of the media through electronic and print media.
It also states that seven crore thirty nine lakhs (7,38,92,963*) have been spent on creating and advertising advertisements to inform the public about the budget.
The report states that the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media has spent more than two crore rupees (2,03,82,180*) in 2018 to implement a media program regarding the two-year change in freedom of the media and to publish notices in the electronic and print media to inform the public about it.
