COLOMBO (News 1st) – One person has died after a wall collapsed into a house down St. Joseph’s Street in Grandpass.
Police said a 55-year-old resident of Grandpass was found dead in the incident.
The victim had visited a nearby house last night to take care of an elderly person.
Police said that the wall of the house had collapsed onto the victim.
He had sustained serious injuries and had succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the National Hospital.
