Investigations conducted by relevant authorities have revealed that a significant number of foreigners, who come here to play in casinos, do not bring money as they make the required payments to their overseas agents. Therefore, the country does not receive foreign currency, inquiries have revealed.
Sources said that arrangements had been made by local casinos, and their agents abroad, for winners to collect their money after returning to their home countries.
Sources said that those responsible for monitoring casinos conveniently turn a blind eye as they were looked after by various interested parties.
