The landslide early warning center of the National Building Research Organization has issued landslide early warnings to the Districts of Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Matara, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.
Accordingly,
A level I landslide Red Alert has been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Division and surrounding areas of Pasbage Korale in the Kandy district.
Level II landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional secretaries Divisions and surrounding areas of Neluwa in the Galle district, Walallawita in the Kalutara district and Elapatha in the Ratnapura district.
Level III landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions and surrounding areas of Nagoda in the Galle district, Bulathsinhala and Mathugama in the Kalutara district, Udapalatha in the Kandy district, Bulathkohupitiya, Aranayake and Ruwanwella in the Kegalle district, Pitabeddara and Kotapola in the Matara district, Ambagamuwa in the Nuwara Eliya district and Godakawela, Kolonna, Weligepola, Eheliyagoda, Imbulpe, Balangoda, Ratnapura, kalawana, Kuruwita and Openayake in the Ratnapura district.
