News Room : UAE stun Sri Lanka Under 19s at Asia Cup – The Island

Under 19 Division II Tier ‘B’ Cricket

Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo will meet Kingswood College Kandy in the semi-final of the Under 19 Division II Tier ‘B’ Limited Overs Cricket tournament at Sooriyawewa today.

Asoka Vidyalaya led by Umesh Caldera beat Christ King College Ja Ela to book their semi-final place. They reached the knockout stage as the fourth placed team of their group.

Kingswood captained by Nenuka Dissanayake advanced to the quarter-final as the runner up of their group. They booked their semi-final place by virtue of better average points against Maris Stella College, Thimbirigaskatuwa after the quarter-final ended in no result.

The other semi-final between P. de S. Kularathna College, Ambalangoda and Jaffna Central will be played tomorrow (13) at the same venue.
