Moratuwa Sesu Sports Club (MSSC), led by Minidu Yehen from Thurstan College, scored a comprehensive 6 wickets win over Kingfisher Cricket Academy in the Final of the MCA all-island, Under-15 Inter-Academy 30-Over League Tournament concluded recently at the MCA Grounds.
In the play off for the 03rd place, played prior to the Final in one morning, Anoj Fernando Cricket Academy scored a comfortable 05 wickets win over Falcon Cricket Academy.
The tournament conducted by the MCA Cricket Development Committee and the MCA Tournament Committee is held annually in connection with the MCA Cricket Academy (inaugurated in 2002) Anniversary Celebrations.
At the post tournament presentation, awards were given away by the Founder of the MCA Cricket Academy & former MCA President, Chris Obeyesekere (2000 – 2002) and the members of the MCA Cricket Development Committee & Academy, Sirosha Gunatillake (Chairman) & Anil Hapugoda (Secretary)
