India was planning to extradite notoroius criminal Janith Madushanka alias Podi Lassie to Sri Lanka, authoritative sources said.
The gangster and drug kingpin Podi Lassie recently fled to India after the Balapitiya Magistrate Court’s granted him bail on December 09, 2024,.
Indian police have informed police headquarters here that the arrest had been made in Mumbai. Earlier Sri Lanka sought Interpol assistance to trace Podi Lasie after he violated bail conditions.
