During a search operation carried out by SLNS Welusumana in the Northern Naval Command on Monday morning, 03 sacks of Kerala cannabis were recovered from shrubs near South beach area of Mandaitivu Island, Jaffna.
The sacks contained 22 packages stuffed with Kerala cannabis weighing approximately 85kg and 450g, with a street value of over Rs 28 million was taken into naval custody.
