The Landslide Early Warning Center of the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings for the Colombo, Kegalle and Rathnapura Districts.
Accordingly Level I landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions of Seethawaka in the Colombo District and Kiriella, Kuruwita, Ayagama and Pelmadulla in the Rathnapura District.
Level II landslide early warnings have been to the Divisional Secretaries Division of Yatiyanthota in the Kegalle District and Elapatha, Nivithigala, Kalawana, Eheliyagoda and Rathnapura in the Rathnapura District.
Level III (Red Alert) landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions of Deraniyagala and Dehiowita in the Kegalle District
