Sirasa TV’s ‘Satana’ programme became the most trending political talk show after National People’s Power (NPP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s much acclaimed performance yesterday (14).
The leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Sajith Premadasa was scheduled to attend the Satana programme today (15).
However, it is learnt that under direct orders received from media mogul and Chairman of ABC Network Raynor Silva, Premadasa has decided to boycott the Satana program.
SJB members are reported to be furious over Raynor’s decision to prevent Sajith from participating at the Satana program given that for nearly two decades, Sirasa has stood by the Premadasas.
